Build Story

From concept to stage-ready

Follow how each element came together — from tonewood choices to hardware and final setup.

Headless ergonomic body

Craftsmanship

Removing the headstock shifts balance toward the body. The Rheon 5's compact outline is carved for seated and standing comfort while the multi-piece neck stays stiff under five-string tension.

Dark figured wood top

Design

A dark figured top with tiger-stripe movement meets sharp lower-bout angles and a rounded upper shoulder — modern minimalism without losing wood character.

Dual soapbar humbuckers

Electronics

Soapbar humbuckers and a four-knob cluster give thick, focused low end with enough midrange cut for slap, fingerstyle, and pick playing.

Tonewoods & Materials

The raw ingredients

Figured Walnut

Deep charcoal-brown figure with tiger striping — the Rheon 5's visual anchor.

Ash

Lightweight, punchy body wood that keeps a headless bass lively and articulate.
